I'm in the shower. There are 3 dispensers attached to the wall. The 1st one has liquid soap, the 2nd one has shampoo, and the 3rd one has conditioner. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 pumps of shampoo. Sometimes I use 7 pumps (they are small pumps) but sometimes 7 isn't enough. Sometimes I need 13 but sometimes 13 feels unlucky to me so I do 12 but I don't feel satisfied. I don't feel that 12 pumps is enough shampoo to clean my hair thoroughly. I try not to think about it. Scrub, scrub, scrub, starting on the left side of my head I scrub, mostly with my left hand, until I reach the top of my head then I start again on the right side scrubbing mostly with my right hand until I reach the top of my head again. Then I start at the nape of my neck and scrub thoroughly from the left to the right side of my head. Clean. Rinse. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 pumps of conditioner starting on the ends, work it in well and work into entire head of hair. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7...8, 9 pumps of liquid soap. Armpits first, then, starting on my left hand I lather, working up my left arm to my shoulder, down to my right hand working up my right arm to my shoulder. Don't forget to scrub elbows well. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 pumps of liquid soap chest stomach privates front then back. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 left foot up the left calf, knee, thigh. Back down to right foot, knee, thigh. Clean. Rinse. 1, dime sized dollop of facial scrub. Forehead, upper cheeks, nose, around nostrils, around mouth, chin, neck. Clean. Rinse. Rinse conditioner from my hair. Done. Is this photo an glimpse into my future? Am I already there?
